My new office chair has hard arm rests. I ameliorated this with strap on foam pads, which proved itchy. These covers easily stretch over the foam blocks and arm bars, letting me tuck in the velcro straps. They look a little klutzy doing so, because I'm putting them over an uneven shape, but that's not their fault. The pattern is exactly as shown in the product photos and adds a nice touch of whimsy to my desk area. The fabric is silky smooth and does not irritate my bare arms.I'm tempted to buy some more designs so I can "redecorate" on occasion. These pull on as easily as a showercap so swapping them out is no problem at all.
